Description

The 2025 Achilles HB-280LX is a lightweight rigid inflatable boat designed for sailors who want the high performance of a fiberglass hull without the excessive weight. Its deep "V" hull provides superior tracking and stability in choppy water. Unlike the DX series, the LX is designed without a bow locker, making it 20% lighter and easier to transport or hoist on davits.

Built with Achilles' world-famous CSM (Hypalon) fabric, this boat is nearly impervious to the burning sun of the tropics or freezing northern waters. The 9' 2" length is perfectly optimized for a 4-person crew and handles exceptionally well with smaller engines (recommended 8 HP), offering a cost-effective yet premium tender solution.
